Friendly reminder

Never forget about the lesser popular villains and DEFINITELY don't be jerks to them!

Green Lantern Movie

Speaking of villains, current go-to antagonist Mark Strong is playing Sinestro, one of the greatest Green Lanterns of all time and a mentor of sorts to Hal as he develops his abilities. Anyone who has seen Strong’s work in films like Kick-Ass and Sherlock Holmes knows that he’s really good at being bad. Reynolds had nothing but esteem for his colleague, who’ll be prominently featured in our full set visit report in the coming months. “He’s going to be something to contend with,” says the star. “He really brings this weight and dignity to his character. He’s so elegant in the way he moves and the way he behaves and speaks; it’s minimal effort for maximum gain with him.” Having seen full character renderings of Sinestro, I can tell you that Mark looks incredible in character, as if he walked right out of the comic books themselves. His performance is inspiring, and will likely go down in history as one of the great comic book villains of all time, right up there with Jack Nicholson’s Joker and Terrence Stamp’s General Zod.

It's looking like the Green Lantern movie is more than on it's way to being amazing! I'm more of a Marvel guy, but if there's one thing DC whoops Marvel's ass with, it's making movies. Cartoon or otherwise.
This has all the potential to be the next BIG thing that's coming out. Or at least, on it's way. I'm sure it's got a while to go before we're ready to see this.
However, it is Green Lantern and we all know how "ehhh" Hal can be almost 80% of the time. But what they said "Hal Jordan is a three dimensional character who Reynolds believes conforms more to the archetype of a “Han Solo or Chuck Yeager” than a Tony Stark or Clark Kent (yet another element that makes the film fresh and original) and comes complete with a “real family story” that is “steeped in tragedy,” as he puts it." gives me some hope about his character. And Ryan Reynolds is good at playing an asshole for the most part, so I've got some faith.
This may top over Thor or even the Spider-Man reboot that are also coming up.
But the main thing they all have in common is that they're still about a year or two off for a release date.
So I'll keep you guys updated about it!

Spider-Man reboot

http://www.thewrap.com/movies/column-post/exclusive-sony-new-spider-man-villain-lizard-21693
Rhys Ifans will play Dr. Curt Connors, better known as The Lizard, in Marc Webb's "Spider-Man," TheWrap has learned.

There had been rumors across the blogosphere that Sony was thinking of bringing back Venom for the franchise reboot, but that character will not be featured in the movie, two individuals familiar with the project have told TheWrap.

Andrew Garfield stars as Peter Parker, while Emma Stone will play Gwen Stacy, who rivals Mary Jane Watson for Spidey's affection.

Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin are producing the movie, which begins production in December.
Dylan Baker played Connors in Sam Raimi's two "Spider-Man" sequels.

"Spider-Man" will hit theaters in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Alright, I'm pretty excited for this now. I love The Lizard and it's going to be interesting seeing how they portray him here. But I don't know how he can hold the attention for the entire movie. Hopefully they'll add another side villain or something. But so far, the only thing disappointing me is the 3D. =/
That's sort of a waste of time and not needed.

For some reason, it's not letting me upload pictures any more? Anyone know what's the deal with that?
Alright, well anyways.
For Marvel vs Capcom 3 we have 4 new fighters introduced! We've got Modok and Magneto coming from Marvel, and we got Spencer and Arthur from Capcom.
Spencer and Arthur are from Bionic Command and Ghosts 'n' Goblins respectively.
They all look really fun to play and they're all sort of ridiculous as well.
Here are some vids!

I realize that you could have just gone to youtube and looked it up, but here you go anyway!
I'm really excited for this game and it's just looking better and better in my opinion.

October, 07, 2010

Well, it's been a rough week to say the least. My laptop has gotten a virus somehow, work's been rough, and the girlfriend business is dying down too much it feels like.
I need to get this shit in overdrive, that's for sure.
I'll try to keep updating this as often as I can but this laptop is having a tough time running.
So I guess today lets talk because it's not letting me upload pictures either.

How is everyone's month going so far? Any plans for Halloween? Anyone going to the NYCC?

I was supposed to go but that plan has also fell through. hahaha
I'm thinking about going as the Phantom of the Opera for Halloween this year, but I haven't started on my costume, but it also shouldn't be too hard to get that outfit.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Who else here is more than excited for it? I honest to god can't wait.
I don't wanna pick who I'm going to main as until the full roster is up. I used Cap, Cyclops, and Rogue. But Cyclops and Rogue are so far unconfirmed or just straight up not going to be in it.
I guess I'll have to work around that. So, enough about that...
Who are you guys going to main? Who do you want to be in the game? And who would you like taken out?
For me, I would love for Thanos to be in it again. I could also really go for Magneto. As long as Sentinel doesn't make another appearance, I think we'll all be fine about the roster.
